Despite these hurdles, some acts and venues are adapting to changing preferences, with shows starting earlier on average in recent years. The trend reflects a shift in audience priorities, influenced by factors like fatigue, financial constraints, and the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. While resistance to change persists, industry figures like concert promoter David Weinstein acknowledge the potential benefits of earlier shows, suggesting innovative approaches like "The 5 O'Clock Tour" as a viable solution.
